5. Consequences for Violations
We take violations of this policy seriously. Consequences are proportionate to the severity and frequency of the violation:
5.1 Level 1: Warning
- For: First-time minor violations (e.g., uploading unrelated content, mild messaging issues).
- Action: Written warning sent to the student and their guardian(s) explaining the violation and expected behavior.
- Effect: No service disruption. The warning is noted on the account.
5.2 Level 2: Temporary Suspension

6. Guardian Responsibilities
Guardians play a critical role in maintaining a safe environment:
- Supervise student usage. Regularly review your students' activity, uploads, and messages through your guardian dashboard.
- Educate students. Discuss this policy with your students and ensure they understand what is and is not acceptable.
- Respond to warnings. If your student receives a warning, discuss the violation with them and take appropriate action.
- Report concerns. If you see content or behavior that concerns you — from any user — report it to us.
- Manage access. You have the ability to remove students from your family or request account deactivation if needed.
7. Appeals
If you believe a moderation action was taken in error:
- Email [email protected] with the subject line "AUP Appeal."
- Include your name, the student's name (if applicable), and a description of why you believe the action was incorrect.
